Vienna..It took us almost 5 hours to reach here at this modern and structured city.
After 2 hours journey from Salzburg, we stopped for lunch. One thing for sure..i prefer the RnR shop in Italy much more better than in Austria. Nothing much for us to eat because of the limited choices of food. I just took a bread and a pumpkin soup.
After that, 2 hours later..we reached Vienna and at 6pm plus..we had our dinner. It was already dark..so, the only best option for us to do next was to go straight to the hotel.
The next morning..i was so excited to see something that i've never experienced before..the falling snow (..punye excited sampai dh nak termasuk bus orang lain wehhh...aduzzz..malu).
After that, we started the journey to the Schönbrunn Palace. At first thought, you might say that 'Biasa jer nampak istana ni..kuning jer color nyer'. But..wait till you go inside the palace..
..before that..some photo-call at the outside park of the palace. And, i was so excited when the snow fell heavily (..uihh..salji turun macam air hujan..Subhanallah. Tak terkata excited dengan keindahan ciptaan Allah).
Another additional information, if you come to europe during winter, you could have some disappointment with the fact that some restoration work could happen and you would not have the opportunity to see some of the famous sculptures during your visit. I did have my share on that matters.
..now, let's go inside the palace. I was so speechless with its beauty. However, we weren't allowed to take pictures inside the palace..but, i used my usual technique again..hubby as my shield to cover my 'snap snap' work.
Next stop..the Belvedere Palace, Hofburg Palace and Statue of Empress Maria Theresa.
Mm..i noticed one thing. The building pattern in Vienna was..a little bit..BORING..yet still capturing your interest of its DULL element.
Now..to our next stop..the city centre itself.
And everybody..let me present to you..Carysse and me. Well, i started to know Carysse during this tour and it has been 2 years since the first time we talked..hehe. And i will always remember her wedding date a.k.a wedding anniversary because it was held on the same day of my 'Bersanding' day.
Here, the tour guide showed us the St. Stephen's Cathedral. Perghh, it was really huge.
Then, we walked around the city which i liked it very much. Even though, i said it before..about the BORING part but still, the city has a breathtaking view for you to capture inside your heart.
After that, we thought that was it..but the tour guide gave us an option whether to stay here in the city or to proceed with the option itinerary..a visit to the famous factory outlet in Vienna. Hubby and me choose to go for the latter option..just to have a look at the outlet.
At the factory outlet, we didn't buy much. Later, we found Nordsee again..yeay (..apa lagi..soru la).
The next day, after we had our breakfast..it was time to say good bye to Vienna and headed ourselves to the airport.
At the airport, i managed to get a worth-it Salvatore Ferragamo purse. This was really what i called a joy of last-minute-shopping moment..hehe.
That is the final chapter of my passport-to-europe story to Austria. It was really an amazing experience.
