The last time I went to Cameron Highlands was 4 years ago, just a month before our wedding. Both hubby and myself went there for the BEA's family day.
So, hubby had planned for us to have a trip here again by using his Leisure Holiday's share. I was looking forward for this family trip due to the fact that both of our parents would join us.

At about 10.30am, we gathered in Taman Cempaka and a few minutes later, we started our journey to the north.
It was a tiring journey which took us almost 4 hours to reach at our destination. Actually, it could be less than that but with the difficulties that has occurred in our search for the Green Hill Resort Apartment, it gave us the end-result of the never-ending-search story.
Once we were there, I was so relieved. However, I was so pissed off when the Leisure Holiday staff gave us the 3rd floor room and it would require both our parents to climb the stairs.
The beautiful scenery at the top managed to squash away our frustration a little bit. We didn't go anywhere after that because we were really tired.
Later that night, the hunger-for-food came to us and this has demand for everybody to climb down the 'brilliant stairs' and we went straight to Tanah Rata. We decided to try Mutiara Nasi Kandar...but it was a not-so-inspiring dinner treat experience.
After that, we were thinking to have an exploration of Brinchang's night market but it was really impossible to go through the massive crowd and traffic. It was crazy!!!

The morning view was so breathtaking. It was really cold and with that chill environment, both Hayra and Emyr had enjoyed their beauty sleep to the max.
As for my parents, they went out as early as 7.30am to look for some breakfast. An hour later, they came back with nice and delicious (..but expensive) nasi lemak, nasi kerabu and nasi dagang. 2 hours later, we were on our way to some tourist attraction places.
My brother, Effizal, had suggested us to go to the Bharat Tea Plantations. It was a beautiful tea plantation. However, hubby has seconded my opinion when I told him that Boh Tea Plantation was much more better than this place and we need to go there. During our time at this place, Hayra had a great time with the plucking tea leaves activity.
After that, we took some quality time to try some tea products at the Tea Shop. Emyr was so excited with this new experience.
Next, while we were on our way back to Tanah Rata, we stopped by at this extensive vegetable farm and later, we went straight to the market to buy some flowers and vegetables.
Once we reached Tanah Rata, we went to the food court and had our lunch. Then, we decided to postpone our journey in the evening because we were already very tired.
At about 4.30pm, we continued our journey to Brinchang and we were in our rush-hour searching mode to find a strawberry garden that would offer us with the experience to pluck our own fresh strawberries. We were really desperate because most of the tourist attractions would end their operation at 6pm.
Hubby thought of Healthy Strawberry Farm, next to Rumah Peranginan Persekutuan. I opposed with that suggestion because we went there before and it wasn't that extensive. So, we proceeded to Kasimani's Strawberry Farm and ended with a disappointment because they didn't allow the public to pluck the strawberries.

Urghh...the time was really passing by so fast and at last, we stopped at EQ Strawberry Farm which was located near in Kea Farm area. Yes, they have those strawberry picking activity but it came with such a costly plucking session price - 1kg strawberries for RM50. But, as I mentioned before...we were really DESPERATE to give the kids a sweet memory of plucking their own strawberries. And, I was content when I saw the exciting expression both from Hayra and Emyr's faces.
Next, it was already 5.30pm and we rushed ourselves to the Cactus Point in Brinchang. Hubby thought of bringing us to Cactus Valley but we couldn't find that place, so we just proceeded to the Cactus Point.
After that, we decided to eat our dinner first before we proceeded to the resort (..so, there would be no need for us to climb the beautiful stairs anymore..). We saw an alluring steamboat restaurant nearby - Glory Steamboat Shac - and next, we started our eating-time moment. It was really a cozy and nice place for us to have a laid-back time while eating those big portion of steamboat.

We planned to start the engine as early as 9am. However, we were almost a little bit delayed with Hayra's fascination with cats. After a few minutes of influencing-and-promises drama, we managed to ask her to go to the car and went straight to the nearby restaurant to have our roti canai breakfast.
Next, we proceeded to the Rose Centre at Kea Farm. We went to Rose Valley in Tringkap before but Mr.hubby and myself agreed that we need to try another new rose experience. We were so relieved that we made this decision to go to this place today because it would be impossible to battle with the huge crowd during the weekend due to its narrow road and limited parking space.
It was such a refreshing place to be visited. The roses were so desirable for us to watch. A must-visit place for ladies.

Then, we proceeded to the Boh Tea Plantation as our last tourist attraction spot in Cameron Highlands. I was so excited to come here because it would be a revisit for both of us to this beautiful place. We went there by using the Sungai Palas Tea Estate route. After a while, there was this awkward moment passed by. We have to drive in such an adventures small road and it was totally different from our previous experience.
Mrs. Wifey: 'Eh, kenapa jalan dia macam tak sama ngan masa kita naik bas dulu ye. Macam senang je bas bawak gi tempat Boh dulu. Ni jalan dia, macam sempit jer .'
Mr. Hubby: 'Haah la'
Even though we have some doubts about this place, we didn't regret at all with the confusion of the road that we faced because it was such a beautiful place. Later, we realized that this place was closed on Monday. So, we decided to take just a few shots of pictures.
Located in a hilltop, amidst rows of tea bushes and close to Gunung Brinchang, this place offers the best possible introduction to Malaysian teas in a truly spectacular setting. The view of green rolling hills was truly breathtaking and refreshing.

I thought that the tea plantation was our last stop. But, hubby decided for us to stop for a while at Avant Chocolate, a place suggested by my brother. We ordered the desirable strawberry strudel and we also tried the delicious strawberry juice. The surrounding of this place was really nice and cozy.
At about 2.30pm, we were already in Simpang Pulai and we went straight to my uncle's house in Changkat Larang. An hour later, we proceeded to my mother's hometown in Kampung Kepayang.
Once we were there, by looking at the old house..I felt like crying. It has been a while for me to come back to this place..my late grandmother's house. At almost 5pm, we started our journey back to Ampang and we reached KL at 6.45pm. Alhamdulillah.
