Petrosains

We were really clueless last week. Myself and Mr.Hubby took a 2-days off with the intention to bring the kids somewhere for an outdoor activity. We thought of bringing them to the National Zoo. But, the haze factor has changed our plan.

So, we ended up with the idea of exploring the Petrosains. I have some doubts at first.

'Will Hayra and Emyr enjoy it?'
'Will it be suitable for them to go inside that area?'

At the end of the day, I was so so happy. They really enjoyed it very much. We spent almost 3 hours here in Petrosains.

First, we have to queue for the oil drop shape ride which is called the Dark Ride.

Once we started our journey to the main entrance, Hayra and Emyr were in awe, looking at the surrounding and images. It brought us to a dark and tranquil ambience through the rainforest of Malaysia, up to the peak of a mountain, before diving into the sea, and finally going through a video display depicting Malaysia's transformation and its advancement into the new millennium.

Then, we proceeded to the energy section and they were already excited with those energy equipments.

Next, we continued  our journey to Petrojaya and after that to the Exploration section where both of them were excited to try all the 'hi-tech' tools.

Later, we entered the time tunnel and proceeded to the Geotime Diorama that take you back more than 200 million years to meet the big 'singing-cum-rapping' dinosaur.

Then, we tried the earthquake centre...

..and proceeded our journey to the second phase of exploration section.

Then, we stopped for quite some time at the SPARKZ section.

First, we have the shadow section.

Then, they saw the Tot Spot.

And after that, Hayra was more interested with the Grain Pit.

After being here for almost 2 hours, I was wondering where is the exit door. Then, when Hayra saw a science show was held at this one area of the same section, she was excited to involve with the rest of the kids.

Later, we walked through the Undersea Walkway and we explored the Oil Platform section.

Next, we proceeded to the Speed Section.

Then, we continued with the Molecule Nano World.

We saw a big piano.

..and Hayra was excited to be a goalkeeper here.

At 4.15pm, we wrapped up our journey at this place with the Exit Ride.

Port Dickson - a 2nd Brief Stop

It was another working brief-stop - a Budget Retreat 2014 in Thistle Hotel, Port Dickson.

No need for me to explain on the working stuff. One thing for sure, it was less stressful than the previous year's retreat (at least, this time around, we managed to have a proper rest and a 6-hours sleep).
