From 23 - 28 November, we decided to go to the land of natural marvel, Pulau Langkawi. It was Eejal's suggestion for us to go there because he got his timeshares with Leisure Holiday at Perdana Beach Resort (so, we can stay there for free!!). Another new adventure that we're going to have was that Eejal has decided to try the Langkawi Ro-ro ferry service so that we could use our own vehicle to travel in Langkawi.
So, it was going to be a really looonggggggggggggg and tiring road trip for my almost-five-months pregnant body to coup. Mmm, good luck me then.

I woke up as early as 4am plus on 23 November because we planned to start the engine as early as 5.30am in the morning. Hence, I decided that there was no need for the children to take their bath at this early hour because I could do that once we reach Kuala Perlis.
After an hour plus drive, we stopped for a while at Tapah RnR to perform our Subuh prayer and took our breakfast over there.
At about 10.45am, we were already at the Terminal Jeti Kuala Perlis and while waiting for Eejal to confirm on our arrival to Ro-ro staff, I went to Masjid Al-Hassan to freshen up.
Later, we have to stand-by for the ferry departure at 1.30pm.
At 2pm, we got our queue to go inside the ferry.
But, we have to wait for another one and a half hours for the crew to settle their technical problem (well, they just started this service in September).
Once the ferry started its engine, it was our time to indulge into this new experience.
...and the surrounding view was so breathtakingly beautiful.
After two and a half hours journey, we reached the Dermaga Tanjung Lembung, Langkawi at 6pm..
..and after that, we went straight to the custom check-in process. Then, it only took us about less than 15 minutes drive from Tanjung Lembung to Perdana Beach Resort.
Later that night, we just went out to top-up the petrol in Padang Mat Sirat and continued with a nice dinner over there.
On our second day, the children were really excited to go out.
..but not before they found the pool and Hayra tried to make a deal with us. We promised to bring her there later.
After that, we proceeded to Pantai Cenang (which reminded me more of Bali and Eejal said Phuket, but in a better and clean version) for our breakfast at Bella Restaurant (sedap gak food kat bella ni).
Then, we continued to the Underwater World with just less than 5-minutes driving.
At the preview arena, the kids started to show their excitement.
Then, we proceeded to the Freshwater, Turtles and Tropical Rainforest sections.
Next, to the Fur Seal and Blackfooted Penguins section where Hayra and Emyr excited the most (ada lak scene kejar-mengejar dengan penguin kat sini, but it was so fun looking at them enjoying it).
After that, we were at the Wildlife and Marine Life sections.
Then, we took quite some time at the Touch Pool section and Koi Pond before we ended the one-and-a-half-hour exploration at this place.
The next attraction that we went was the Makam Mahsuri.
Here, we were at the Kampung Kedah section.
The main attraction was definitely the Rumah Pandak Mayah.
My father-in-law was also interested with Rumah Sri Tama.
Last but not least, we dropped by at Rumah Penghulu.
And this sawah padi view (next to Rumah Sri Tama) was the highlight of my visit to this place. It was so serenely beautiful.
Next destination was Beras Terbakar. Okay, honestly, I didn't go there to be so into its history but more on the Kain Batik shopping (thanks Farhana and Fazilah for this info). People said that Kain Batik here can be a little bit expensive than in Pekan Kuah (ala, RM1 jer pun). But, the design was way way way more beautiful and exotic here.
Then, we thought that we're going to wrap up our activity with the Kain Batik shopping but I suggested for us to have a quick stop at Laksa Power (next to the airport) because people lauded it as the best laksa in Langkawi. This stall is next to Pantai Cenang, so Hayra was so excited when she saw the beach.
It was already 6.15pm and it was so difficult for me to convince her to go to the car but once I mentioned about the hotel pool, she was willingly proceeded herself to the car.
Later, they spent about half an hour inside the pool.
On our third day, we went to the Oriental Village.
It was scorchingly hot but that didn't stop Hayra to proceed with her horse riding activity.
After that, we bought the skycab ticket and waited for 20 minutes for our turn.
Once we were inside, Hayra was so thrilled with this new experience.
..and same thing happened with Emyr.
At 12.45pm, we successfully reached the top of Gunung Machincang.
An hour later, we were already at the base station and continued with another horse riding activity.
After that, we ate lunch at the nearby restaurant, just outside the Oriental Village.
The SkyCab was the only outdoor activity that we did today because for the rest of the day, we proceeded with our shopping activities at Idaman Suri and Haji Ismail Group in Pekan Kuah. That night, we went to Restoran Haji Ramli for a seafood dinner.
On our fourth day, we continued straight to the Wildlife Park.
First, we were at the Education Corner.
Then, the mammals section.
After that, Hayra and Emyr were so excited at the Budgerigars 'Love Birds' section.
Next, we continued to walk to the Aviary section
The last stop was the Kids Zone.
After that, we proceeded to the town. and had our lunch at Restoran Hameed in Jetty Point and went back to Idaman Suri, Warisan Duty Free and Beras Terbakar for a finale episode shopping saga. Later that evening, we went to Pantai Tengah to continue with our Beach Hoping activity.
After we finished exploring the beach, Eejal requested for a Kebab stop at Doner Istanbul Kebab and later that night, we took our dinner at Cucu-cucu Bamboo Beach Restaurant.
On our fifth day, we continued our Beach Hoping exploration. First, we went to Pantai Pasir Tengkorak.
Then, we ate lunch here at Pantai Pasir Hitam.
And, our second last hop was at Pantai Tanjung Rhu.
The last one was at the Telaga Harbour Park, next to Pantai Kok.
That night, we sent my father-in-law to the airport because he has to go back for a Universiti Malaya senate meeting. As for us, the next morning, we have to rush to Dermaga Tanjung Lembung for our 8am ferry ride.
And of course, we enjoyed the view so so much.
