KL Tower

Happy New Year!!

Welcome 2012...

And yes, what a new day of the year with us celebrating it with a family brunch at Atmosphere 360 Restaurant, a revolving restaurant situated 282m above ground level located at the tallest tower in Southeast Asia - Menara Kuala Lumpur.

We reached the KL Tower at almost 12pm. Once we were in the car park, Hayra was so excited to see her Pak Ngah.

Then, we made a short walk to the entrance.

..and WOW...what a long queue!! But, there was no need for us to join the queue because they gave priority to their Atmosphere 360 Restaurant customer. After all, we paid RM114 each person for the brunch.

The staff guided us straight to the front and we waited for the elevator to come patiently. I always love to see the beautiful crystal light in the middle of the waiting area.

Then, we were also had been given the priority to go inside the elevator first. Finally, we were at the Atmosphere 360 Restaurant which was one level above the observation deck.

Now, it was makan time.

As for me, i looked after the kids first.

And, this girl had a new activity - ..baring & duduk atas cermin..hadoiiiiiii.

Some leisure and casual pictures.

..and not to forget, my own version of brunch.

Later, photog time with hubby.

Last but not least, we captured the majestic view of Kuala Lumpur.

All in all, the subtle feeling to be inside a nice atmosphere with a magnificent view, was what you are getting here inside the restaurant. In terms of the food, it wasn't that bad but not the best one...just a so-so review from all of us. Anyway, the lasagne and the dim sum were delicious.

After that, we went to the Observation Deck. However, what a wrong decision that we made. The jam-packed crowd made us difficult to walk (..lupa lagi...ni kan cuti sekolah). So, we went straight to the elevator and now we have to queue with other people and we have to wait for about 10 minutes before we got our turn.

At the end of the day, we had fun...spending our quality time together.

Sunway Lagoon

We're so excited to bring the kids to Sunway Lagoon. We reached there at 12pm and we're a little bit blur on where to start our tour.

A few minutes later, we decided to start our exploration with the carousel. Hayra was so thrilled with her carousel experience.

Then, we went to the Wildlife Park.

We were very surprised at the extensive and almost perfect Malaysia's first-ever fully interactive and educational animal-themed attraction. We even thought that this place was much more better than the National Zoo and the KL Bird Park.

Later, before we proceed to the Zulu Walk, we stopped by at the fish area sponsored by Ole-ole Bali. Hayra was so happy to see the kap fish.

Now, it was Water Park time. We went to the Surf Beach first..

..and Hayra was super duper excited, while Emyr was absorbing the new experience.

Later, she showed the bored face..and said to me '..nak tuwunnn..nak jalan shendiri...nak tuwunnn'.

As for Emyr, he was with his observation habit..looking and looking.

Then, we granted her wish and she was so happy enjoying her moments with the water.

..and Emyr was cozily being taken care by hubby.

See at how happy she was being inside the water.

..and how curious was Emyr with his sister's kiddie float.

Next, it was time for us to experience the wave pool.

Hubby brought her to the slide and she liked it very much. (..sampai sliding pun terbalik bagai).

Suddenly, hubby rushed himself to the wave pool because the wave was starting its move.

Just after that, he brought Hayra to the splash.

Next, to the Slow River.

Last but not least, shower time.

After we changed our clothes, we decided to explore the Amusement Park.

Right after we reached at the entrance, both Hayra and Emyr went to sleep. So now, it was our turn to have fun and we tried the Colorado Splash. Unfortunately, we have to take turn to try the splash because one of us must look after the kids.

After that, hubby tried the Grand Canyon River Rapids. He asked me to try it but i didn't want to get wet, so maybe some other time.

Then, we saw the Niagara Falls Flume Ride...but again, maybe some other time.

The final thrill, we tried the Buffalo Bill Coaster.

Then, we thought of experiencing the big roller coaster 'Lost City of Gold', but it was already 6.15pm and they were already closed for public. So, just before we ended our fun time, Hayra woke up and we brought her to the carousel for another ride.

It was really really fun despite the hot weather. Hubby said that this theme park was much more fun than Genting Highlands, and i tend to agree with that motion.
