Port Dickson - A Brief Stop

It has been a while since my last visit to Port Dickson...six or seven years ago. 

I've been here again last week...not for a Cuti-cuti Malaysia but for a working purpose. So, it would not be a relaxing brief stop definitely because the three-days session would only be about work work and work from 9am-10.30pm.

Lexis Hotel was the pit stop...near Lukut town and situated at Tanjung Gemok, a quiet beach spot along the 2nd Mile of Port Dickson, just a short distance away by car from PD town.

I didn't expect this...a water chalet room. Mm...a new experience for myself (..even my mom got a little bit worried when she knew about this).

All in all..the hotel was good and the food was even better.

The view outside the hotel was something new to me and I prefer the evening view more than the morning view.

On the second day, we (myself, zalinda and nazifah) managed to skip from the seminar's heavy stuff and had our coconut-milk-shake-and-keropok-lekor moment at this beach near Telok Kemang. 

Well,

..it was just for three days and yet, I've been missing my Hayra and my Emyr..and of course my Eejal so so much, and been thinking about them 24-7.

Mmm...I wonder how it would be if I have to go for a long-term course. Tak sanggup wehhh...

Desa WaterPark - A 2nd Visit

Yesterday, we went back to this place and made it as our second visit. We reached there at about 10.30am and the crowd was manageble.

Both Hayra and Emyr were so excited to 'berenang kat sungai' - as quoted by Hayra (influenced from Upin Ipin episode).

First, we stopped by at the Surf Shark.

Next, we proceeded to the Action River. Hayra and Emyr were so excited having their own floating moment.

Then, they played around for a while at the Baby Wave.

Later, we tried the Water Factory and the Pink Slide (dah tak pink pun slide ni...awat dia panggil pink slide lak).

Once the wave started its action, we went back to the Baby Wave. It was so cute to look at Emyr's reaction each time the wave reached to him. He laughed so hard as if it was such a funny thing. As for Hayra, she was so happy exploring the wave on her own.

Then, it was my turn with the wave. But, it was just for a short while because the kids weren't comfortable anymore with the big wave.

At 12.30pm, I suggested to Mr.Hubby for us to stop for lunch at the cafe.

An hour later, we queued for the Thunderbolt - lauded as the longest and the first gravity-defying water coaster in Asia. I tried it with Hayra and it was fun. Emyr was not that tall enough for this attraction so Mr.Hubby offered himself to look after our son, just because he had tried it before and wanted me to try it this time around.

At about 3.15pm, we called it off and the kids were so so tired and we're glad that they really had a blast of time at this place.

Aquaria - Our 2nd Visit

We went to this place today along with my parents-in-law and what a huge crowd!! It was so massive and the place became so humid due to so many people around. We reached there at 2.45pm and I was really shocked to see the unbelievable long queue. 

20 minutes later, mr.hubby got the ticket and straight away, we started our journey to the under waterworld.

First, to the Touch Pool - where we have the opportunity to observe, touch and feel its exotic exhibits such as the horseshoe crab, spotted starfish and our gentle bamboo shark. We didn't stop at the Piranha Tank because it was surrounded by such a big crowd.

Then, we proceeded to the Electric Eel and the Stream where Hayra was curious to see the water rat. At Jewels of the Jungle, Hayra was so fascinated to see the snake, scorpion and turtle, but not the lizard, spider and alligator.

Next, we continued to the 2nd floor at the Amazon Flooded Forest and piccas time for a while at the  big fish tank.

After that, we walked along the Coast and later, we continued to the Oceanarium.

 

 

We ended our visit at the Weird and Wonderful area and after almost 90 minutes of exploration, we wrapped it up with some delicious ice cream and a light snack at the cafe area, just outside the Aquaria.

It was just a short and quick visit. A better preview to Hayra this time around.
