Kulai - A JPO visit

30 October 2012

...continued from Desaru post..

At first, we thought that we wanted to proceed to Legoland but it was still raining and I got an information from tripadvisor that the Legoland attractions will stop its operation for a while once it's rain. So, we proceeded to Johor Premium Outlet (JPO) first to buy a pair of new jeans for my dad-in-law. I managed to have a quick-view on what I wanted to buy during our next visit to this place.

40 minutes later, we were already on our way to Legoland.

After we checked out from M-Suites Hotel, we went straight to JPO. It was just a half an hour journey and once we reached there, I was already excited...excited to spend my money at this place.

We spent our time for almost 4 hours at this place. At the end of the day, our 'hasil tangkapan' that we managed to grab were from Michael Kors, Coach, Gap, Sketchers and Braun Buffel. It was really nice to shop at JPO and I liked it here (of coz la tak semurah macam kat Europe or US).

Later, we took a late lunch at JPO's Food Channel before sending-off my dad-in-law to the airport. He has to go back early to Kuala Lumpur due to his work obligation with Universiti Malaya. Kesian ayah.

While we were at the airport, I made a quick stop at the souvenir shop and later, I tried to find mr.hubby and Emyr. I was so clueless to see Emyr's act form afar. He was standing in the middle of the wide-open-space of Senai airport while holding his stomach.

I thought that he might be having some pain inside his stomach, but...I was wrong...

He was actually performing his Asar prayer (...kat tengah-tengah alam kat airport ni. Haha, chomei la anak mak ni..:-)

After that, we went straight back to Desaru. Me and mr.hubby were so satisfied with our just-okay 'hasil tangkapan' during this JPO visit.

Nusajaya - It's Legoland time

31 October 2012

..continued from Kulai post..

We arrived at Legoland Malaysia in Nusajaya at about 2pm. Yes, it was a little bit too late for us to be here at this hour and we could only spend 4 hours before its closing time at 6pm, but that would do.

Once we arrived at the Mall of Medini which is next to the Malaysia's 1st international theme park, we prepared ourselves with some fluids and took out our shades, umbrella and hats (..and I've already slopped on some sunblock cream at myself, Hayra and Emyr), as well as the stroller's fans and its weather cover (in case of any raining situation). It was really scorching hot.

Next, once we entered this huge 'Boiling Hot' theme park, we went straight to the Lego City and proceeded to the Junior Driving School. Unfortunately, Hayra didn't get to go on with the ride because she is still less than 3 years old and they were very strict in terms of height and age. After that, we walked around the city for a while.

Then, I saw the Legoland Express and continued with that attraction first.

It was a nice ride because we could have a glimpse of the whole Legoland world. While enjoying myself with the cool breeze inside the train, my hat had flown away. Now, I have to go around at this hot place without my big hat. Lucky me that mr.hubby brought along the umbrella so I have a back-up plan not to be baked by the beautiful sun.

After that, we proceeded to the Lego City Airport.

And, we continued to walk.

The next attraction that we went was the Land of Adventure.

We decided to try the Lost Kingdom Adventure and we were glad with that decision because it was an air-conditioned area. The waiting line was also not that long.

I noticed that Hayra didn't enjoy that much when she was inside this place. Maybe because of the uncomfortable image that she saw inside it.

Then, I brought Hayra to the Beetle Bounce and she enjoyed it so much.

After that, at about 4pm, we stopped at Jungle Cafe for a light lunch and I bought a yummy french fries and an ice lemon tea. The food was quite pricey here and we weren't that hungry yet due to the late breakfast that we took at Lotus Desaru Beach Resort.

45 minutes later, we continued our Legoland exploration at Imagination. Mr.hubby went straight to the Observation Tower but it was closed due to maintenance check.

We proceeded to Duplo Playtown and Hayra tried the Duplo Express.

Due to time constraint , we made just a quick stop at Build and Test.

Arghhh...it was 5pm already and yet we didn't explore the Lego Kingdom. Once we were there, we persuaded Hayra to the Royal Joust. She just tried it once because she was afraid with the voices that she heard at the left side of the attraction's track.

Then, I saw the Castle Stage and a little bit excited to take a picture at that area.

Later, me and mr.hubby went inside the castle quietly (kalau tak Hayra nak ikut naik sama and dia tak leh naik), just to proceed ourselves to ride the Dragon a.k.a the rollercoaster. After the ride, we bought a picture of us together, riding the Dragon.

It was 5.35pm already and we were in a rush to bring Hayra to the Merlin's Challenge. Yet, another disappointment with the strict rules. So, we just proceeded to the Mini land, admiring some of Asia’s best known landmarks in detailed miniature.

At about 6.30pm, we were already on our way to Johor Bahru.

22 January 2016 After Kuala Terengganu, we continued our journey to Kelantan. It has been such a long time since the last time I visited...
