Genting Highlands - A Short Trip

It's Genting Highlands time..again.

After so many last minute plans, we proceeded with our intention to bring the kids to Genting Highlands. This time around, we booked a hotel...just to make it a more meaningful family vacation..just the four of us. I was a little bit worried but, Alhamdulillah...we had so much fun even though we're really tired at the end of the day.

First, we arrived at 10.45am and went straight to Marrybrown.

Then, at 11.30am, we proceeded to the entrance and hubby paid for the tickets..free for Hayra & Emyr. Once we entered the outdoor park, we just realised '...Ohhhh...Anugerah Bintang Popular hari ni la..' So, we managed to see the Melodi set with Zizan, Awal and Aaron Aziz were having a rehearsal before the show starts.

Now..let me start telling about our vacation chapters:

Starting with...

Double Deck Carousel - The first time Hayra set her eyes on this attraction, she was super duper excited.
'Huuiihhhh...bechooo nye kude'
As for Emyr, he was so cool adapting with the new experience.

She loved the idea of queuing-n-waiting.

Astro Fighter - Both of them loved the idea of being at the top.

Tea Cup - They were so so excited when the cup made its spin.

Flying Jumbo - This ride has made both Hayra and Emyr laughed so hard when there cute flying baby elephants moved up and down continuously.

Playpen - When she found this area, i knew that we have to spend quite some time at this place.

It was almost 1.30pm and we knew that the kids must be very tired already because they didn't take their afternoon nap yet. But, we wanted both of them to experience another 2 attractions first before they proceeded with their nap activity.

Then, we continued to walk and Hayra stopped to see this gigantic attraction.

Antique Car - Emyr was so busy with the steering wheel while Hayra was just giving him a chance this time around.

Mini Train - This was the last attraction that we tried before hubby and i put both of them to sleep.

It was 3pm and we went inside this one restaurant (lupa lak apa nama nye) and stayed there for a while. As for the food, it was extremely expensive (..like we're having a serious inflation problem in this small small world..). We took this opportunity to try some thrill rides. Both hubby and myself tried the flying dragon and later he went solo for the Sungai Rejang Flume Ride.

At about 4.30pm, we continued our Outdoor exploration after Hayra and Emyr woke up.

Dinosaurland - It was just an ok ok attraction.

Matahari - They were thrilled being inside the cute sun.

Busy Bugs -  I was so worried leaving both of them riding this attraction but parents could not stand near the bugs. In the end, i was so happy to see both of them having some fun with the bug.

Junior Bumper Car - Hayra was so excited to ride the bumper car.

Then, it was 6pm already and the Outdoor Theme Park will be closed. Now, it's the Indoor Theme Park time. We just brought the kids to try the Carousel and Ride De Paris because we're really tired already.

Then, while heading ourselves to the car, we saw a few celebrities who just arrived at the red carpet.

Next chapter...the Awana Genting story.

The last time we came here was in the year 2010 when i was attending the 2-weeks Harvard School Course. That was for work...this time it's for leisure.

Early in the morning, we strolled along the small pond in the middle of the hotel. Hayra was so excited to see the fish.

After that, we brought Hayra to the golf course and again she was thrilled to see the real live action of the golfers (..she loves golfing with her golf club- not the real one of course..), and the big golf ball.

Then, it was swimming time.

First, the three of them..inside the swimming pool
Then, hubby brought Hayra to the Splash
..this guy..having his own sweet time with me

during this short vacation
After we check-out at 12pm, we made a decision to go to the Strawberry Farm. At first, i was a little bit skeptical to go to this place because usually only in Cameron that you will find a nice strawberry farm. But, i was totally wrong. The place was nicer than Cameron..better..it was really a clean and well-managed farm.

The interesting part was that Hayra and Emyr got the opportunity to pick the strawberries by themselves. I was so excited to witness this happy moment.

We didn't want to miss it as well...

After that, she was satisfied with her collection and ran to the counter with the basket.

Last but not least, some glimpses of the cactus, vegetables and mushrooms.

Well...that's it. To sum up...we really enjoyed this short vacation.
