Last Sunday, we went to Zoo Negara. We planned to go there as early as 8.30am because the zoo will be opened to the public at 9am but we ended up at the ticket booth at 10.30am. Once we were at the entrance gate, we've been told by the staff that the Multi-Animal Show would start at 11.00am.
We went straight to the show and we were so eager to let Hayra and Emyr enjoy this moment. We decided to sit at the last row of the theater due to the fact that we have two strollers with us and it could consume some space for other people to watch the show.
At first, both of them were really enjoyed with the show.
But, when Emyr had skipped his morning nap, the 'kememeh' moment was also coming to us.
At 11.45am, the show ended and we decided to proceed to our next destination. Hayra was excited to see the BIG FISH, next to the Animal-Show theater.
Then, we proceeded to the next room where the penguins were located. After that, I thought to check on Emyr but he was already in his la-la-land a.k.a tidur world.
Next, we proceeded to the Aquarium.
After we finished the Aquarium tour, while we were on our way to the main entrance, we noticed the Children's World entrance and we continued to be inside this area. Hayra was so enthusiastically happy to see the cute pony and brave enough to climb up for a better view of the pony.
Next destination, the Hornbill Centre. Here, she was amazed to see the swinging monkeys. As for myself, being a Puteri-Lilin-yang-mengada-ngada-takut-kulit-jadik-gelap-dek-sinaran-matahari, I've already prepared myself with the big hat which I bought at one of the shops once we entered inside the Zoo Negara.
At 12.45pm, we reached back at the main entrance and I asked Hayra not to take her nap yet because we were on our way to see the giraffes and elephants. Mr. hubby said that it was better to wake Emyr up so that he could experience the rest of the adventure and I couldn't agree more.
Hayra was so excited to see the elephants and asked me to go to the farthest that we could to be near the elephants.
Then, we saw this one small air-condition room sponsored by Ribena and we went inside for a while to have a cool a.k.a rest moment. Emyr did enjoy his moment with the bird for a while until mr.hubby noticed something was happening outside the room.
The Zoo people was selling the bananas to the public to be given to the elephants. Mr.hubby wanted Hayra to have that experience and she did feed the elephant successfully.
Then, we decided to go back to the main entrance and proceeded to use the tram ride to have a thorough view of Zoo Negara (..ni kes mak and abah bebudak ni yang dah tak larat nak jalan..).
But, it was just a 15 minutes ride and we weren't satisfied. We went back to the Children's World and this time around we wanted Emyr to experience the excitement to be at this place.
Next, we thought maybe we could have a not-too-far walk to the Tigers and Lions section, Amphibian World and walk-a-bit at the Mammal Kingdom.
It was such a worth decision to be made by us even though we were starting to get very tired. First, she was excited to see 'Bambi' and determinedly touched her 'Bambi'.
..and next, she was happy to see the goat and tried to touch it as well but stopped her intention after she looked at the goat's nose and wasn't comfortable with it.
..then, she didn't proceed further to see the big tortoise because she was afraid to be near the poor thing. The same could not be said for Emyr because he looked curiously and meaningfully at the slow movement of the tortoise.
..later, she was okay with the small tortoise.
..a while later, she was curious with the flamingo.
..and excited to see the tigers.
..and her lion king 'Simba'.
At 3.30pm, we wrapped up the visit and Hayra ended up with her delayed morning nap.
